We’re not a guidebook. We’re your friends in Italy.
Italy isn’t a checklist of monuments. It’s the smell of espresso at 7am, the nonna arguing about the right way to make ragù, the tiny trattoria with no English menu where the food makes you close your eyes.
That’s the Italy we love. And that’s the Italy we want to show you.
Call Me Italy was born from one simple feeling: pure love for our country. We got tired of seeing visitors herded into overpriced restaurants, queuing for things that aren’t worth it, and missing the real magic happening just around the corner.
So we decided to do something about it.
We’re a small team of Italians who believe travel should be useful and fun — part honest guide, part good company. We’ll tell you where the locals actually eat, which “must-see” spots to skip, and the hidden places you’d never find on the big tourist sites. But we’ll do it the way a friend would: with a smile, a story, and zero boring tourist-speak.
From Rome to Naples, Florence to Venice, our goal is simple — to help you feel Italy the way we do. Not as a tourist. As a friend.
